DESCRIPTION:During this 90 minute session\, you’ll learn how to make the most of your Medicare options! \nThe workshop covers: \nImportant enrollment dates\nLimited guaranteed issue rights\nHow to save money on prescription drugs\nHow to prevent late enrollment penalties\nOptions to help pay for Medicare costs for people with a limited income\nChoosing between Medicare A & B and a Part D Prescription Drug Plan\, a Medicare Supplement\, or a Medicare Advantage Plan\nIt’s important to get local information because Medicare options vary by state\, and even by county. \nSpace is limited. Pre-registration is required. Relevant Medicare publications will be provided. An opportunity to participate in a no-cost phone appointment with a MAS Resource Specialist to further discuss benefit options will also be offered after the workshop.
